Texas Rising Star (TRS) Accreditation

St. Christopher’s Episcopal School participates in the Texas Rising Star (TRS) quality rating system, a voluntary program through the Texas Workforce Commission that recognizes early childhood programs committed to providing high-quality learning environments for young children. TRS-certified programs meet or exceed standards in teacher qualifications, curriculum implementation, classroom environments, family engagement, and program administration.

Texas Rising Star accreditation reflects our school’s dedication to continuous improvement and our commitment to early learning best practices. As a TRS program, SCES maintains structured classroom environments, age-appropriate curriculum, intentional teacher-child interactions, and strong partnerships with families.

Participation in Texas Rising Star also allows eligible families who receive Texas Workforce child care assistance to access higher-quality care options and potential reduced out-of-pocket costs, strengthening the affordability and accessibility of our program for the broader community.
