St. Christopher’s Episcopal School Current Job Openings:We are looking for a qualified teachers, teacher aides, and substitutes to help our students prepare for a positive first school experience. You will be responsible for caring and teaching the children the important components as they begin their journey in school. As a teacher you must be loving, kind, joyful, and patient. St. Christopher’s Episcopal School provides a learning environment in the Christian tradition for the spiritual, social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of its students.
Responsibilities and our philosophy: -Develop students through a child oriented, age appropriate Christian curriculum. -Provide creative opportunities through meaningful learning experiences by offering a variety of educational techniques to teach children. -Help students develop and improve their social interactions by modeling kindness. -Ensure children are safe at all times. Assist children at snack, lunch, and nap times. Assist with overall supervision of toileting and bathroom time which includes changing diapers and toilet training. -Track students progress, maintain open communication with parents. -Collaborate with other staff members. Two teachers per room at all times. -Maintain safe, healthy, clean, clutter free classroom. -Comply with COVID 19 State and National requirements. -Lift 45lbs, be able to lift, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull with our students. Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00-3:00pm Extended hours available for before and after school care Positions:
Teacher
Requirements include: Education: Minimum of Associates degree License: CDA (preferred if degree field is not Early Childhood Education), First Aid/CPR, Safeguarding God's Children Background check with fingerprints. Teacher Aide
Education: Degree not required, High School Diploma or equivalent License: CDA (preferred), First Aid/CPR, Safeguarding God's Children Background Check with Fingerprints Substitute
Requirements as listed above for teacher and teacher aide positions. Pay is negotiated by education and experience. Holidays that occur during regularly scheduled days are paid.
