The Pre-K3 program serves children who are 3 years old by September 1 and are ready to engage more fully in a structured early childhood classroom. This program builds upon the foundational skills developed in earlier years, with a continued focus on social-emotional growth, language development, independence, and early academic readinessthrough developmentally appropriate instruction. Children in Pre-K3 deepen their understanding of classroom routines, practice cooperative play, and strengthen communication and self-regulation skills. A consistent and supportive environment encourages children to take appropriate risks, develop confidence, and form meaningful relationships with peers and teachers. Instruction is play-based and intentionally guided, incorporating early literacy and numeracy experiences, hands-on exploration, music and movement, sensory learning, and fine- and gross-motor development. Teachers provide structured opportunities for problem-solving, listening, following directions, and expressing ideas, helping children build readiness for the academic and social expectations of Pre-K4. The Pre-K3 program partners with families to support each child’s continued growth while fostering independence, responsibility, and a love of learning.
