1. Contact the School to Begin the Process The first step is to call the school office (254-526-8380) or stop by for a tour (anytime between 9am-1pm). During your initial visit or phone call, we will gather your name and your child’s name so we can add your family to BrightWheel, our secure school management system.
You will then download the BrightWheel app, where all admission and enrollment forms will be sent to you electronically for easy completion. 2. Receive an Acceptance Letter Once your child’s admission information is reviewed, you will receive an official acceptance letter by email. 3. Pay the Enrollment Fee Enrollment is confirmed once the fee is paid: $35 for returning students $75 for new students 4. Complete Online Forms All required state licensing documents, school forms, and immunization records must be submitted through BrightWheel before your child’s first day.
Admission Philosophy SCES is committed to creating a safe, joyful, structured environment where all children can thrive. To honor this commitment, we review each application to ensure we can meet the child’s academic, social, developmental, and behavioral needs. We may not be the best fit for: Students with significant behavioral challenges Students requiring specialized services outside our staffing capacity Situations where parent partnership is not consistent Our goal is to make sure every child we enroll is set up for success.
Age RequirementsToddlers: 18–24 months PreK2: Age 2 by September 1 PreK3: Age 3 by September 1 (must be potty trained) PreK4: Age 4 by September 1 Kindergarten: Age 5 by September 1 1st – 2nd Grade - 3rd: Placement based on age, readiness, and previous school records
Tours and Questions We encourage all prospective families to visit our campus, meet our teachers, and experience the SCES community firsthand. We encourage families to just drop by without scheduling. Younger students do nap between 11:30 am & 2:00 pm.
